Caucasus, Dombai area

 

Teams of the M_C have visited the Dombai area of Caucasus in 2001 and 2002 for trekking and climbing.

Here you can find a list of peaks climbed, passes overcome, photos, descriptions.

The Dombai area belongs to the Western Caucasus. The below photo mirrors the area quite well. One can see everywhere in Dombai great combinations of  rocks, glaciers, grass, meadows, forest, rivers … We like Dombai and are very happy to visit the region two times.
